White-Label Reseller Hosting

Quick answer: White-label reseller hosting means you buy a reseller plan, create client cPanel accounts inside your own WHM, and sell them under your brand and nameservers. WebJi® Linux reseller plans start at ₹4,000 a year before 18% GST, and your clients never see the provider name.

What white-label reseller hosting is selling

White-label reseller hosting means you buy a reseller plan, create client accounts inside your own WHM, and sell them under your brand and nameservers. Your client logs in to an ordinary cPanel; the provider's name stays out of it. WebJi® runs the servers, and you own the relationship and the invoice.

  • You get: one WHM login, package limits you define, white-label nameservers such as ns1.yourbrand.in, and cPanel accounts you can create, suspend or upgrade.
  • You do not get: root access, control of the hardware, or a provider support team that talks to your clients.
  • You sell: the plan, the renewal, the mailbox and the SSL — priced by you.

If you need root to install a custom stack, that is a VPS, not a reseller plan. The two are different businesses with different support loads.

What the WebJi® reseller plans cost

Three Linux tiers and a Windows line, billed yearly in INR before 18% GST. Amounts read from the WebJi® price list on 30 October 2026.

PlanBuilt for₹ per yearWith 18% GST
LR-STARTThe first few clients4,0004,720
LR-ProA growing book of accounts7,0008,260
LR-DevAgency-scale reselling12,50014,750

LR-START works out to about ₹333 a month before tax. The account and resource limits for each tier are printed on the reseller hosting page, and this page does not restate them because they change with the plan.

Four costs sit outside the plan: a WHMCS licence if you automate billing, the domains you register for clients, your payment gateway's fee, and the GST you collect and remit.

Step 1: brand domain and private nameservers

The brand domain comes first, because every nameserver, mailbox and invoice hangs off it. Register a domain you intend to keep, then point two nameservers at the reseller server.

  1. Register the brand domain through domain registration. Never use a client's domain for your own nameservers.
  2. In WHM open DNS Functions, then Edit DNS Zone for the brand domain, and add A records for ns1 and ns2 using the two server IPs in your welcome mail.
  3. At the registrar, register ns1 and ns2 as child nameservers with the same two IPs. Some registrars label this "register nameservers" or "DNS host records".
  4. Wait for the registry to accept the pair, then verify before you create any account.

Verification is one command on any Linux or macOS machine: dig +short ns1.yourbrand.in must return the IP you entered. Then dig NS yourbrand.in should list both nameservers. You know it worked when an account created with those nameservers resolves in a browser.

The common failure is registering the child nameservers at the registrar but leaving the A records out of the zone, or the reverse. Either half alone gives "invalid nameserver" at account creation.

Step 2: build a WHM package and the first account

A package is the product. It decides disk, bandwidth and how many mailboxes a client can create, so build it before you sell anything.

  1. WHM, then Packages, then Add a Package. Set the disk quota, bandwidth, and the email, database and addon domain limits.
  2. Pick a feature list, and name the package the way a client would say it: Starter, Business, Pro. Not the upstream tier name.
  3. WHM, then Account Functions, then Create a New Account. Enter the domain, username and password, choose the package and the two nameservers.
  4. Open the client's cPanel URL and sign in. You know it worked when List Accounts shows the domain, the package you built and the disk quota you set.

Rollback: Terminate the account from List Accounts removes the files and the database. For a live client, take a backup before you touch it, because termination is not reversible.

Step 3: put your brand on the panels and invoices

Branding is a setting in two places. WHM's Customization screen edits the branding package — logo, company name and the links a client sees. cPanel's Branding editor changes the login page.

  • Panel footer: the provider's name should not appear anywhere a client can click.
  • Nameservers: zones should show ns1 and ns2 on your domain, not the upstream pair.
  • Password resets and alerts: they must come from an address on your domain, not the provider's.
  • Invoices: your business name, your GST details, your bank or gateway.

White-label is a setting, not a guarantee. Three places leak hostnames even after branding: reverse DNS on the shared IP, the Received headers of a mail a client sends, and default error pages. Check all three before you claim the stack is yours.

Step 4: billing, support and who answers the client

Manual invoicing works for the first handful of clients: raise the invoice, collect by UPI or bank transfer, renew by hand. Past that, WHMCS or Clientexec provisions the account when payment clears. The licence is separate from the hosting plan.

Support is the part resellers underestimate. You are the first line. The upstream desk answers you, not your client, so a 2 a.m. message from a client is yours to answer or to leave until morning. Decide which before you sell.

For your own questions, email support@webji.services. It is staffed 24/7 in Hindi and English with an average first reply under 60 minutes. The office phone is a business-hours line, not a support queue.

Price the plans so the year is covered

Start from the yearly plan cost, not from what a large brand charges. Divide that cost by the number of accounts you expect to sell in year one, and you have a floor per account before support time.

Arithmetic on LR-START: ₹4,000 a year before GST, sold as eight accounts at ₹1,800 a year, brings ₹14,400. The plan takes ₹4,000, leaving ₹10,400 for your time, the domain and payment fees. Sell four accounts instead and the same plan leaves ₹3,200.

Renewals decide the business, not the first invoice. A client who stays two years pays twice and costs less to keep than a new one costs to find. Upsell only what you can support: SSL, a business mailbox, a VPS when a client outgrows shared hosting.

Test the signup before you take money

Place one real order as a customer would. It is the only way to see what your buyer sees, and it catches the failures that cost a first client.

  1. Order the smallest plan on your own storefront and pay it.
  2. Read the provisioning email: your brand, your nameservers, your support address.
  3. Log in to the new cPanel, publish a one-page site, and send a test mail to a Gmail address.
  4. Open the mail headers and check that your domain, not the provider's, appears in the path.
  5. Check the invoice, including the GST line and your business name.
  6. Roll back: terminate the test account, void or refund the invoice, and write down what broke.

If the order fails at nameservers, fix the child registration first. If it fails at mail, check SPF and DKIM in that account's DNS zone before you blame the server.

When to email support

Email support@webji.services for plan limits, nameserver records and faults you cannot see from WHM. Include the domain, the account username and the exact error text. Support is 24/7 by email in Hindi and English, and the average first reply is under 60 minutes.

Contract terms, renewals and account changes go to the same desk. Free migration of existing client sites is available subject to terms and approval, so ask before you promise a date to a client.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is white-label reseller hosting?

It is a reseller plan where the upstream provider runs the servers while you create and sell accounts under your own brand, nameservers and invoices. Your client sees your panel branding and your support address, not the provider's.

How much does a WebJi® reseller plan cost?

Linux reseller plans are ₹4,000, ₹7,000 and ₹12,500 a year before 18% GST, read on 30 October 2026. Windows reseller plans start at ₹4,500 a year. The yearly invoice for LR-START is ₹4,720 once GST is added.

Do my clients see WebJi® anywhere?

They should not. Panel branding, nameservers and alert emails all carry your brand. Three places still leak the upstream host if you do not check them: reverse DNS on the shared IP, Received headers on outgoing mail, and default error pages.

Do I need WHMCS to start selling?

No. Manual invoices and UPI collection are fine for the first handful of clients. WHMCS or Clientexec earns its licence when an account has to be created the moment a payment clears, usually past a dozen clients.

Who supports my clients?

You do. The upstream desk supports you by email, not your client, so set your response hours before you sell. WebJi® answers reseller questions 24/7 in Hindi and English, with an average first reply under 60 minutes.
