Warm modern Jaipur office interior with jaali lattice screens and an Indian team at work — acceptable use policy

The WebJi® Acceptable Use Policy sets what may not run on our shared, WordPress, VPS and dedicated plans: malware and phishing, content illegal under Indian law including the IT Act 2000, intellectual-property infringement, hacking resources and deceptive practices. Violations go through the abuse desk; the prohibited list and the edge-case test are below.

Billing is in INR, and every invoice shows 18% GST. Cluster uptime is on the public status page, with 90-day history. Email support@webji.services is staffed 24/7 in Hindi and English, with an average first reply under 60 minutes. Phone +91 141 4941811 is business hours only.

What the WebJi® Acceptable Use Policy prohibits

Prohibited content and activities, stated without legalese:

  • Malware in any form — distributing viruses, hosting phishing pages, exploit kits or command-and-control payloads.
  • Illegal content under Indian law — including pirated software and media, and content violating the IT Act 2000 and criminal statutes.
  • Sexual content involving minors — reported to authorities, zero tolerance, no warning stage.
  • Adult content on shared infrastructure where plans do not permit it — check plan terms explicitly.
  • IP infringement — hosting unlicensed copyrighted material, counterfeiting-enabling stores.
  • Hacking resources — bulletproof hosting for attacks, stresser or booter services, stolen-credential dumps.
  • Deceptive practices — fake document generation, Ponzi and scam sites.

Questionable edge cases resolve by one test: would this content, if traced to our infrastructure, embarrass or implicate the platform? If yes, it is outside policy. Data handling sits separately under the privacy policy, billing questions under the refund policy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is not allowed on WebJi® hosting?

Seven classes of content and activity: malware in any form (viruses, phishing pages, exploit kits, command-and-control); content illegal under Indian law including the IT Act 2000; sexual content involving minors — reported to authorities with zero tolerance and no warning stage; adult content on shared infrastructure where the plan does not permit it; intellectual-property infringement; hacking resources such as stresser or booter services and stolen-credential dumps; and deceptive practices including fake-document and Ponzi or scam sites.

Can I send bulk marketing emails from my hosting?

This page publishes no bulk-email clause. Rather than guess, write to support@webji.services with your expected sending volume before you pay — the desk is 24/7 in Hindi and English, average first reply under 60 minutes, and confirms in writing what your plan allows.

Is cryptocurrency mining allowed on a VPS?

This page publishes no mining clause. Mining is exactly the kind of edge case the policy resolves case by case with its published test — would this use, traced to our infrastructure, implicate the platform? Email support@webji.services with the workload details before you order and the desk confirms in writing.

What happens if I violate the acceptable use policy?

It depends on the class of violation. Sexual content involving minors is reported to authorities with zero tolerance and no warning stage. Every other case goes through the abuse desk at support@webji.services, which reviews the report and contacts you on the ticket desk — open a ticket at https://billing.webji.in/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=10 if you want a specific case checked before it becomes one.

How do I report abuse on a WebJi®-hosted site?

Email support@webji.services with the site's URL and what you found — the desk reads email 24/7 in Hindi and English, average first reply under 60 minutes. For anything on your own account, open a ticket at https://billing.webji.in/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=10.

Is adult content allowed on shared hosting?

Only where a plan's terms explicitly permit it. On shared infrastructure where plans do not permit adult content it is outside policy — check your plan's terms before hosting it, and ask the desk if the row is unclear.

Is WebJi® an Indian company?

Yes. WebJi® is headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan and has operated since 2005. Billing, support and governance all run from India.

Do you provide GST invoices?

Every purchase and renewal gets a GST invoice with our GSTIN, and hosting prices are quoted exclusive of 18% GST. Claim input credit as applicable.
