Short labels come from two or three keywords you already use. Keep one you can say once, under 15 characters, and without a hyphen. Before 18% GST, .com is ₹900–1,200 a year, .in is ₹500–800, and .co.in is ₹500–900. The exact price is confirmed before you pay.
How do you turn keywords into domain ideas?
Start with words you would say on a phone call: the product, the service, or a plain English word. Two or three keywords are enough. Join them into one label with no space.
You make the combinations yourself. No model here invents the labels.
- Write two or three keywords in lowercase. Use words a customer would recognise, not a slogan.
- Join them into one label. Try one short extra word, such as get, my, or shop, and drop any result that still has a space.
- Copy the label onto .com, .in, and .co.in. Those are three names.
- Email one name per line to support@webji.services, or use Get Custom Quote on the row for that extension. The list is done when every line is available or taken, with the first-year price and the renewal if it is free.
Join each kept label to an extension before you treat it as yours. Use the same available-or-taken check you would use for a name you already chose.
Letters and numbers are allowed. The registry also allows a hyphen, but a hyphen is easy to drop when someone hears the name. A space or a symbol is refused.
Verisign assigns .com. NIXI assigns .in and .co.in. The reply is their status for that exact string, not a guess from a web search.
Which generated names are worth keeping?
Keep a label you can say once and type from memory. Under 15 characters, not counting the dot or the extension, is easier on a phone than a row of keywords.
- Say it aloud. If you must spell it, people will mistype it.
- Spell it as it sounds. Swapped letters and doubled consonants create a permanent correction.
- Skip hyphens and digits on a brand. They disappear when the name is only spoken.
- For customers in India, a clean .in beats a .com you had to twist. A strong label can also use .io or .ai when you will pay the renewal in the table.
A free .in does not make the matching .com free. Check the extension you will print on a card.
If the reply says taken, stop. A Whois lookup shows the public record of that name. It does not transfer the name to you.
What does a shortlisted name cost per year?
Use the table for the yearly band. .com is ₹900–1,200 to register and ₹1,000–1,400 to renew. .in is ₹500–800 to register and ₹700–1,000 to renew. .co.in is ₹500–900 to register and ₹800–1,100 to renew. All of those figures are before 18% GST.
The renewal is not the first-year figure. The .xyz and .online row is ₹150–500 in the first year and ₹800–1,400 to renew. .io is ₹2,800–3,800 to register and ₹3,200–4,200 to renew.
.ai is ₹6,000–8,000 to register, with a two-year minimum, and ₹6,500–8,500 to renew. These bands were read on 29 October 2026 and are before 18% GST.

Yearly bands in rupees, before 18% GST, read on 29 October 2026. The exact registration and renewal are confirmed before you pay.
A premium string can cost more than its row. Anything not listed is quoted by email at support@webji.services before you pay.
How do you register the name you chose?
When a line comes back available, register that exact string with domain registration in India. Do not assume the low end of a band until the reply names that string.
A free domain is not a trademark clearance. Search the trademark register for the label before you print it. The reply does not search trademarks for you.
Most names show in the WebJi® panel with DNS unlocked within minutes of a cleared payment. Set the nameservers or an A record after that.
Pointing the name at a site can take 1 to 12 hours on Indian networks, and up to 48 hours on some others. You know it worked when the panel lists the name and the expiry date.
Where the registry allows it, WHOIS privacy is included. Some country-code registries publish the owner anyway, and that limit is stated before you pay. Renewal reminders may also arrive by SMS.
Support is 24/7 email at support@webji.services, in Hindi and English, with an average first reply under 60 minutes. Do not use the office phone as a support line.
WebJi® has served 12,000+ clients online and has been in this business since 2005. A move of a name you already hold needs the authorisation code, the lock off, and approval. It is subject to terms and is not instant.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I turn keywords into a domain name?
Write two or three words a customer would say, join them into one label, and drop spaces. Put that label on .com, .in, and .co.in as separate lines. Email the list to support@webji.services, or use Get Custom Quote on the matching row. Each line should come back available or taken.
Does a domain name generator use AI here?
No. You combine your own keywords into labels. Nothing here invents names for you. You then check which of those labels the registry will still sell.
Is making the shortlist free?
Building the shortlist costs nothing. You pay only when you register a name the registry will still sell. The yearly bands in the table are before 18% GST, and the exact figure is confirmed before you pay.
Should I choose .com or .in?
Choose the extension you will say to customers. For an India-first business, a clean .in is often better than a .com you have to twist. Check both. A free .in does not make the .com free.
How long should a domain name be?
Aim under 15 characters, not counting the dot and the extension. If you cannot type it from memory, cut a word. A list of keywords is a poor domain.
What if the names I like are taken?
Do not pay for a taken string. Try the same label on another extension in the table, or a shorter label. If you already hold the name elsewhere, a transfer needs the authorisation code and approval. It is not instant.
Is WHOIS privacy included?
Where the registry allows it, WHOIS privacy is included at no extra charge. Some country-code registries publish the owner by policy. That limit is stated before you pay.
