Four ways to host multiple websites
You host multiple websites in one of four ways: an addon domain on one cPanel, WordPress Multisite, a reseller account per site, or a server you configure yourself. On WebJi® cPanel hosting the usual path is the addon domain, because each site keeps its own folder while the account stays one bill.
An alias, also called a parked domain, is not a second website. It opens the primary site under another name. Use an addon domain when the folder and the content should differ.
| Path | Separate website? | What is shared |
|---|---|---|
| Addon domain | Yes, its own folder | The account's disk, CPU, and memory |
| Alias or parked domain | No, the same site | The primary site |
| WordPress Multisite | Yes, one WordPress install | Plugins, users, and the account |
| Reseller account | Yes | The server, not the cPanel login |
| Server you manage | Yes | Only what you configure |
How to add an addon domain in cPanel
In cPanel, open Domains and choose Create a New Domain. On that screen, leave Share document root unchecked so the new name does not show the primary site. You are done when the new domain shows its own folder and the primary domain is unchanged.

- cPanel → Domains → Create a New Domain. The older Addon Domains screen does the same job.
- Enter the domain without http:// and accept the suggested document root when it is a subfolder, not the primary site's own public_html.
- Point DNS at your registrar. Set the domain's nameservers or its A record to this server.
- Wait until the name resolves to its own folder. That can take minutes or a few hours.
- Install the site in that folder. In Softaculous, select the addon domain so WordPress gets its own database. You are done when the addon domain shows that install and the primary domain still shows the original site.
cPanel creates the folder. It does not register the domain. At the registrar, point the nameservers to the pair in your welcome mail, or point the A record at this account's IP. Change one of those, not both.
WebJi® is not GoDaddy, and other panels name this screen differently. On cPanel the screen is Domains. If you cannot find it, use how to open cPanel, then come back to this list.
When addon domains are the wrong way to host multiple websites
Every addon domain shares that account's disk, CPU, memory, and inode pool. A sale, a backup, or a hacked script on one site can slow the others. Move a site out when it needs its own limit or its own login.
L-Unlimited is a plan name, not a count of websites, and the published prices do not list a maximum. Email support@webji.services with the number of sites and whether any are shops. Support replies in Hindi and English, and the average first reply is under 60 minutes. The office phone is not a support line.
What one year of multi-website hosting costs
The cheapest published way to host multiple websites here is one Linux shared account. Extra sites are addon domains on that account, not a second plan. These prices were read on 30 October 2026 and are before 18% GST.
L-Basic is ₹300 a month and ₹3,000 for one year. L-Unlimited is ₹400 a month and ₹4,000 for one year. L-Developer is ₹700 a month and ₹7,000 for one year. The yearly bill is lower than twelve times the monthly price.
| Plan | Monthly, before 18% GST | One-year bill |
|---|---|---|
| L-Basic | ₹300 | ₹3,000 |
| L-Unlimited | ₹400 | ₹4,000 |
| L-Developer | ₹700 | ₹7,000 |
Separate cPanel accounts are priced on reseller hosting below.
WordPress Multisite for several websites
WordPress Multisite runs several websites from one WordPress install, one user list, and one set of plugins. Use it for a network of similar sites you control. Skip it when the sites are unrelated or a client needs an isolated login.
- You can update plugins once for every site in the network.
- The sites can share a theme family.
- Nobody outside your team needs a separate hosting login.
If any of those lines is false, use addon domains. One compromised plugin on Multisite is a problem for every site in the network.
Reseller hosting when each website needs its own account
Reseller hosting gives each website its own cPanel login, files, and PHP limit, so one client's mistake does not take the other sites down.
LR-START is ₹4,000 a year, LR-Pro is ₹7,000 a year, and LR-Dev is ₹12,500 a year, all before 18% GST. Windows reseller plans start at ₹4,500 a year before 18% GST.
| Plan | Yearly, before 18% GST |
|---|---|
| LR-START | ₹4,000 |
| LR-Pro | ₹7,000 |
| LR-Dev | ₹12,500 |
Moving an existing site onto the new account is free only after terms and approval. It is not instant, and it is not unconditional.
Host multiple websites on one server
One server can answer for many domain names. Shared cPanel already routes each addon domain to its folder, so you do not edit web-server files on that account.
A server you administer uses the web server's site list, often Apache or Nginx. That is a different job from an addon domain. If you need root, start at VPS hosting and get the quote by email before you pay.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I host multiple websites on one hosting account?
Yes. Add each extra domain as an addon domain in the same cPanel. Each site gets its own folder and, if you install an app, its own database. The sites still share that account's disk, CPU, and memory.
How many websites can shared hosting hold?
The published plans do not state a website cap. L-Unlimited is a resource label, not infinite CPU. Email support@webji.services with the number of sites and whether any are shops, and support will name a row.
What is the cheapest way to host multiple websites?
The lowest Linux shared price here is L-Basic at ₹300 a month, or ₹3,000 for one year, before 18% GST. Put the extra sites on as addon domains. A separate server is quoted before you pay.
What is the difference between addon domains and reseller hosting?
An addon domain is another website inside one cPanel. Reseller hosting creates a separate cPanel for each website, so files and limits stay apart. Linux reseller starts at ₹4,000 a year before 18% GST.
Is WordPress Multisite a good idea for multiple websites?
Only when you want one WordPress network that shares plugins, themes, and users. It is a poor fit for unrelated sites or for clients who need their own login. Separate addon domains are simpler then.
Do all my websites need separate SSL certificates?
Each hostname needs a certificate that covers that name. AutoSSL on the account can issue one per addon domain after DNS resolves. Check the padlock on the addon domain and on the primary domain.
How do I host multiple websites on one server?
On a cPanel account, add addon domains and let the panel route each name to its folder. On a server you manage, the web server's site list does that routing, and the price is quoted before you order.
Is WebJi® an Indian company?
Yes. WebJi® has been in this business since 2005, and the company was incorporated in 2018. The registered office is Shop #27, Ajmer Road, Tagore Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302021. There is no walk-in branch in any other city.
Do you provide GST invoices?
Yes. The prices in the tables are before 18% GST, and the invoice adds 18% GST.
