Email Deliverability Service in India

Quick answer: An email deliverability service in India is hired help that gets legitimate mail into the inbox: DNS authentication, sender reputation, list hygiene and placement tests. WebJi® hosts the business mailbox and publishes SPF, DKIM and DMARC. It is not a bulk-sending consultancy. A specialist job is quoted by email before you pay.

What an email deliverability service in India does

Email deliverability is inbox placement. The other server can accept a message and still file it as spam. A deliverability service is the help you pay to find which step failed, then fix authentication, reputation, the list, or the sending pattern.

Acceptance is not the inbox. A successful handoff only means the receiving server took the message. Placement is whether Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook shows it where a person will read it.

In India the usual setup is your own domain, a mailbox your staff actually use, and DNS you control. A transactional email API and a contact-list product solve different jobs. Do not buy one when you needed the other.

SPF, DKIM and DMARC for email deliverability

Publish one SPF record, turn on DKIM, and add DMARC at p=none until the reports are clean. Two SPF records invalidate both. Wait out the DNS TTL before you judge a test message.

  • One SPF TXT record. Extra includes you do not send through can hit the 10-lookup cap and fail the check.
  • DKIM is a public key from the mailbox panel. The selector on the message must match the name in DNS.
  • DMARC at p=none reports failures without blocking mail. Tighten the policy only after legitimate mail passes.
  1. Publish one SPF TXT record that names only the servers allowed to send.
  2. Turn on DKIM in the mail panel and publish the selector it prints.
  3. Add a DMARC record at p=none and read the reports.
  4. Send one test to a mailbox you control after the DNS TTL expires.
  5. If two SPF records exist, delete one. Both fail.

Gmail and Yahoo rules for an email deliverability service

Google and Yahoo apply extra rules once a sender reaches about 5,000 messages a day to their users. Those messages need SPF and DKIM, a DMARC policy, and a From domain that aligns with one of those checks.

Mail people subscribed to also needs a one-click unsubscribe, and the spam-complaint rate should stay under 0.3%. Ordinary staff mail under that volume still needs the same DNS. The threshold is not a reason to skip it.

Google Postmaster Tools and Microsoft SNDS show how those providers score the domain. They are free dashboards. They do not replace the DNS records, and they do not clear a blacklist for you.

Warming a domain or IP before you scale sending

A new domain or a new IP has no history. Send only mail the recipient expects, in small numbers, and raise volume only while messages are accepted and almost nobody marks them as spam.

Prospecting is a different job from company mail. A VPS for cold email keeps that traffic on a spare domain and a dedicated IP. Warm that IP for two to four weeks. Do not point a cold campaign at the domain staff use for clients.

Blacklist checks before you blame the copy

Look up the sending IP and the domain on an email blacklist check before you rewrite the subject line. A listing on a major blocklist can reject or spam-folder mail that is otherwise authenticated.

The usual causes are a compromised mailbox, an open relay, or a list of addresses that never opted in. Ask the list for removal only after that cause has stopped. A removal with the same behaviour puts the IP straight back on the list.

Mailbox hosting, transactional mail and bulk sending

Pick the tool that matches the mail. Staff correspondence belongs in mailboxes. Password resets and receipts belong on a transactional relay. Opted-in newsletters belong on a bulk sender with an unsubscribe. Cold prospecting belongs on a separate domain.

Company mail on your domain is business email hosting. The other three rows are not.

Business email on WebJi® is ₹2,520 to ₹14,400 a year before 18% GST, read on 30 October 2026 from the billing table. Five mailboxes at 5 GB each are ₹2,520 a year. The top cloud row is ₹14,400 a year. That price is the mailbox, not a deliverability retainer.

When to hire an email deliverability service

Hire a specialist when authenticated mail still misses the inbox, a blocklist you cannot clear is rejecting you, or complaint rates on a real campaign keep climbing. Do not hire one merely to create an address on your domain. That is a mailbox.

WebJi® has hosted sites and mail since 2005. The registered office is Shop #27, Ajmer Road, Tagore Nagar, Jaipur 302021, and there is no walk-in branch in any other city. About 99% of clients are served online.

Support is email at support@webji.services, in Hindi and English, with an average first reply under 60 minutes. The office phone is not a support line. A specialist engagement, if you need one, is quoted by email before you pay, and invoices add 18% GST.

Mailbox migration is free only when terms and approval say so. WebJi® is the mailbox host. It is not a transactional email API, a lead database, or a deliverability consultancy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an email deliverability service?

Deliverability is whether wanted mail reaches the inbox. A service is paid help to fix authentication, reputation, the list, or the sending pattern. Creating a mailbox on your domain is a different purchase.

Why do business emails land in spam in India?

Usually the DNS is incomplete, the sending IP has a poor history, or the list includes people who did not ask for the mail. Gmail and Yahoo also apply bulk-sender rules once volume is high. Content is rarely the first cause.

How do I set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC?

Publish one SPF record for the servers that may send, turn on DKIM in the mail panel, and add a DMARC record that starts at p=none. Delete a second SPF record if one exists. Test again only after the DNS TTL has passed.

What do Gmail and Yahoo require from bulk senders?

At about 5,000 messages a day to their users, they expect SPF, DKIM, DMARC, a From domain that aligns, one-click unsubscribe on subscribed mail, and a spam-complaint rate under 0.3%. Lower volume still needs the DNS records.

Should I buy a dedicated IP for email?

Not for ordinary staff mail. A shared mail platform is normal when the host maintains it. A dedicated IP matters when you send enough to need your own reputation, or when your own server delivers the mail. Ask before you pay for one.

Is WebJi an email deliverability consultancy?

No. WebJi® hosts the business mailbox and the DNS for SPF, DKIM and DMARC. It does not run inbox-placement consulting, list cleaning, or a bulk-sending network. Those jobs are quoted separately, or they belong with a specialist.

What does business email hosting cost before GST?

The billing table, read on 30 October 2026, runs from ₹2,520 a year for five mailboxes at 5 GB each to ₹14,400 a year for the top cloud row, before 18% GST. That is mailbox hosting. A deliverability audit is not on that table.
