Read the status screen before you buy
Open WooCommerce, then Status, on a store you already run. The report names the WordPress version, the PHP version and the database server. Treat that screen as the requirement list for this install, because the plugin's own minimum moves when you update it.

Check the account before you import products
- Install WordPress and WooCommerce, then open Status and clear every incompatible line.
- Confirm the site URL is https and that a test page does not mix http images on checkout.
- Place a test order for a cheap product and confirm the order email leaves the queue.
- Watch PHP errors for one real day of traffic before you point the campaign at the shop.
