How to Set Up Business Email

Quick answer: Own a domain, create the mailbox at your provider — free in cPanel on WebJi® shared hosting, Zoho Mail's free tier, or Google Workspace — point the domain's MX records there, then publish SPF, DKIM and a DMARC record starting at p=none. WebJi® mailboxes start at ₹504 a year each, before 18% GST.

Business email is set up in four moves: create a mailbox on your own domain at the provider you chose, point the domain's MX records at that provider, publish SPF, DKIM and DMARC so other servers accept the mail, then add the account to your phone or Outlook. Zoho's own guide, read 30 October 2026, puts the work at 30–60 minutes, with DNS needing up to 48 hours to propagate.

3 Ways to Get Business Email (Free to Paid)

Three routes, free to paid:

  1. Hosting-bundled (free) — cPanel > Email Accounts: create rajesh@yourbrand.com with SSL-secured webmail; included with WebJi® shared plans
  2. Zoho Mail free tier — up to 5 users on your domain; add Zoho's MX records in cPanel
  3. Google Workspace — Gmail on your domain; Business Starter ₹3,240/user/year before 18% GST via WebJi® (read 30 Oct 2026)

Whichever route, finish the DNS layer: MX points mail to the provider, SPF authorizes senders, DKIM signs, DMARC enforces. Skipping SPF/DKIM is why business mail lands in spam. Our business email hosting plans include the mailboxes, and the cPanel email creation guide walks route one click by click.

Option 1: Free Email in cPanel Hosting

In cPanel, open Email Accounts under the Email section, click Create, choose the domain, type the local part of the address (rajesh@), set a password and a storage quota, and create the account. Read mail straight away in cPanel's webmail — the Check Email link next to the mailbox — or connect Outlook or a phone over IMAP or POP with the mailbox username and password. The mailbox is included with WebJi® shared plans, so there is no separate email bill for this route. The cPanel email creation guide walks every click.

Option 2: Zoho Mail Free Tier

Zoho Mail's free plan hosts up to 5 users on one domain, with 5 GB per user, attachments up to 25 MB and two-factor authentication (zoho.com, read 30 October 2026). Zoho itself prints that the free plan may not be available in certain regions — check that before you plan around it. Setup runs: add your domain in Zoho's admin console, verify ownership with a TXT record in your DNS, publish Zoho's MX records, then configure SPF and DKIM. The work is 30–60 minutes; DNS can take up to 48 hours to propagate. Zoho's support lines are not needed for any of these steps and are not published here.

Option 3: Google Workspace

Google Workspace puts the full Gmail client on your domain. Sign up at workspace.google.com — the first 14 days are at no cost — connect or buy your domain during signup, create user accounts and role aliases such as sales@ and info@, then verify the domain with the DNS records Google shows you (workspace.google.com, read 30 October 2026). Via WebJi®, Business Starter lists at ₹3,240 per user per year before 18% GST with 30 GB pooled storage per user — see Google Workspace plans.

DNS Setup: MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC

Publish one SPF record that includes only the servers allowed to send for the domain, turn on DKIM in the mail panel, and add a DMARC record that starts at p=none while you watch reports. Two SPF records invalidate both. After DNS changes, wait out the TTL before you judge a test message.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create a business email with my own domain?

Pick one of the three routes above — a cPanel mailbox bundled with your WebJi® shared hosting, Zoho Mail's free tier, or Google Workspace — create the mailbox under your domain, then finish the DNS layer: MX records route mail to the provider, one SPF record authorizes your senders, DKIM signs outgoing mail, and a DMARC record starts at p=none. Skipping SPF/DKIM is why business mail lands in spam.

What is the cheapest business email in India?

On rates read 30 October 2026, WebJi® business email lists at ₹2,520 a year for 5 mailboxes × 5 GB — from ₹504 per mailbox per year, before 18% GST. Zoho Mail's free tier is ₹0 for up to 5 users where it is available; Zoho prints a regional caveat. Below that, the only cheaper option is the mailbox already included with your shared hosting plan.

Is Zoho Mail's free plan enough for my business?

It can be, inside its limits: up to 5 users on one domain, 5 GB per user, 25 MB attachments and two-factor authentication (zoho.com, read 30 October 2026). Zoho itself prints that the free plan may not be available in certain regions. Once you need more users, more storage, or a migration in from another provider, a paid plan — Zoho's or WebJi®'s — is the next step.

Which DNS records does business email need?

Four, whatever the provider: MX records that route mail to the provider, one SPF record (TXT) listing the servers allowed to send for your domain, a DKIM record that signs outgoing mail, and a DMARC record that starts at p=none while you watch reports. Providers also use a TXT record to verify you own the domain before activation. Two SPF records invalidate both.

How do I stop business emails going to spam?

Authenticate the domain, then test. Publish one SPF record covering only your real sending servers, turn on DKIM in the mail panel, and add a DMARC record starting at p=none. After any DNS change, wait out the TTL before judging a test message. Mail sent from a domain with no SPF and no DKIM signature is the mail that lands in spam folders.

Can I use Gmail with my custom domain?

Yes — through Google Workspace, not a free Gmail account. Sign up, connect or buy your domain during signup, create your user and aliases such as sales@, and verify the domain with Google's DNS records; the first 14 days are at no cost (workspace.google.com, read 30 October 2026). Via WebJi®, Business Starter lists at ₹3,240 per user per year before 18% GST.

Is WebJi® an Indian company?

Yes. WebJi® is headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan and has operated since 2005. Billing, support and governance all run from India.

Do you provide GST invoices?
