The registry renews .me names automatically on expiry; registrar practice then follows the familiar pattern of roughly 30 days of renewal grace at the normal rate, followed by a redemption window of about 30 days in which recovery needs a restore fee, before the name is deleted and returns to the open market. Exact windows are set by the registrar, so renew before expiry rather than relying on them.
