What a web hosting renewal price is
A web hosting renewal price is the amount billed when the first paid term ends. Many hosts advertise a lower first-term rate, then charge a regular rate on the next invoice. Compare the renewal, and add 18% GST on an Indian invoice, before you treat an advert as the real price.
Add-ons can renew on their own lines. A domain, a paid SSL certificate, or a backup pack may sit outside the hosting figure. Read each line before you treat one total as the price of hosting for the next year.
- Intro rate — the first term only, when the host prints a separate one.
- Renewal rate — the next term for the same plan.
- Term — a month and a year are different rupee totals.
- Tax — the WebJi® figures below are before 18% GST.
WebJi® shared plan renewal prices
On WebJi® hosting, Linux shared plans publish one monthly price and one one-year price. The catalog, read on 30 October 2026, has no separate introductory column. A renewal of the same plan uses that published amount unless the catalog itself has changed. Invoices add 18% GST.
| Shared plan | Monthly price | One-year price |
|---|---|---|
| L-Basic | ₹300 | ₹3,000 |
| L-Unlimited | ₹400 | ₹4,000 |
| L-Developer | ₹700 | ₹7,000 |
The one-year column is ten times the monthly price, not twelve. Twelve months of L-Basic at ₹300 would be ₹3,600. The one-year bill is ₹3,000, still before 18% GST. The same ratio holds for ₹400 and ₹4,000, and for ₹700 and ₹7,000.
These amounts are plan prices, not a charge per unit of disk space. A one-year web hosting price on this table is the yearly column. Dedicated hosting is priced on the WebJi® price list, not in these shared rows. Disk and CPU limits are on the shared hosting plans.
How to compare hosting by the renewal price
On 30 October 2026, Domain India's hosting page said plans started at ₹100 a month and that the renewal matched that rate. The same page also showed other starts, including ₹99 and ₹125 a month. That claim is theirs, for their plans.
The same day, Web Eye Soft's homepage showed a plan at Rs.29 a month and did not print a renewal rate for it. Hostinger's cost article, dated 22 October 2026, put shared hosting in a $2–$10 a month band and listed a .com domain renewal at $19.99 a year.
Those figures are different products and, in one case, a different currency. A Rs.29 first month with no renewal on the page is not the same offer as ₹300 a month that is also the renewal. WebJi® is not either of those companies.
The same check covers a brand renewal such as Hostinger, SiteGround or Bluehost. Open that company's renewal line for the term you will actually pay. This page does not reprint those rates.
- Copy the renewal or regular price, not only the first-term price.
- Match the term, so a monthly total is not set against a yearly total.
- Add the tax the invoice will charge. WebJi® adds 18% GST.
- List extras that renew alone, such as the domain, SSL or backups.
- Compare two hosts only after those four lines match.
Longer terms and auto-renewal on a hosting bill
A two-year or three-year term is available at WebJi® checkout. It delays the next renewal, and you pay the amount quoted for that order. The shared price file does not print a two-year or three-year total, so do not assume a further discount.
Auto-renewal charges the renewal price on the due date when the service is set to renew. It does not bring back an intro rate. Open the upcoming invoice and check the plan, the term and the rupee total. Cancel or move before the due date if you do not want that charge.
Moving the site before a hosting renewal
A high renewal is a reason to move before the due date, not a reason to let the old plan lapse. WebJi® migration is free only after approval, and only on the terms in force. It is not instant, and it is not added to every order.
- Ask the current host for the renewal amount in writing.
- Email support@webji.services with what the site needs, and wait for approval.
- Keep the old host online until the copied site opens in a browser.
- Change DNS last.
The click-by-click cutover is in the guide to moving a site without downtime. Do not point the domain at the new host until the copied site opens correctly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do web hosting renewal prices increase?
The first term is often a promotion. The renewal is the regular rate for the next term. Add 18% GST on an Indian invoice before you compare two hosts. A catalog with one published rate, such as the WebJi® shared plans on this page, has no second intro price to jump from.
What do WebJi® shared plans charge at renewal?
L-Basic is ₹300 a month or ₹3,000 for one year. L-Unlimited is ₹400 a month or ₹4,000 a year. L-Developer is ₹700 a month or ₹7,000 a year. Read on 30 October 2026, before 18% GST. There is no cheaper first-term column in that catalog.
How can I avoid a high web hosting renewal price?
Read the renewal before you order, and match the term and the tax. If the renewal is too high, move the site before the due date. Keep the old host online until the new copy has been checked.
Does a longer term lock the WebJi® renewal price?
Checkout can bill two or three years. You pay the amount quoted for that order, which delays the next renewal. The shared price file does not list those longer totals. Accepting a quote locks that order, not every future monthly rate.
Does auto-renewal keep the intro price?
No. Auto-renewal bills the renewal price for the next term when the service is set to renew. Check the invoice for the plan, the term and the rupee amount. Email support@webji.services to confirm a WebJi® renewal. Do not use the office phone as a support line.
Can I migrate when the hosting renewal is due?
You can ask. WebJi® migration is free only when it is approved, and it is subject to terms. It is not an automatic part of every order. Leave the old host online until the copy opens and DNS has been moved.
