What can you finish in 10 minutes?

The 10-minute job is a draft you can look at, not a finished brand site. Generate the pages, then correct three facts: the business name, the city if you serve one place, and the phone or WhatsApp number.

Stop when a private window shows those facts on the home page. Domain connection and photographs of your own work usually take another sitting.

A shop is not this draft. Product pages, a cart, and payments are an online store, and they take a separate build.

A chat window can draft the sentences. It does not give you a public address. How AI website builders work is the short version of what the tool does after you submit the prompt.

What should you type in the prompt?

Write it the way you would brief a person. Say what you sell, who it is for, which pages you need, and what the visitor should do next.

Include only facts you can stand behind. If you leave the fee, the hours, or the address out, delete any number or street the tool invents.

Name a city only when the business actually serves that city. A national service does not need a fake local address.

How do you generate the site and put it online?

Do this in the builder, then check the public address in a private window. You are finished with this list when that window shows your pages.

1. Open an AI website builder and start a new site from the prompt box, not from a template you have not read.
2. Type the business, the audience, the pages (home, services, and contact), and the one action a visitor should take, such as a WhatsApp chat or a form.
3. Generate, and answer any follow-up with facts you can check. Wait until a home page and a contact page both exist.
4. Replace the business name, the city, and the phone or WhatsApp everywhere they appear. Delete any price or timing you did not type.
5. Swap any picture that shows the wrong trade. A free image tool is a different job and does not publish the site. Use your own photo when you have one.
6. Open the phone-sized preview. The contact button should be visible without sideways scrolling.
7. Publish to the builder's temporary address first. In a private window you should see your pages, not a login wall.
8. When that draft is right, connect a domain you own, or register one through domain registration. The same pages should later open on that hostname with a padlock. DNS is not instant.

How do you know the website worked?

Two checks, in order. Do not skip the first because the second can take hours while DNS updates.

• On the temporary address, a private window shows your business name on the home page, and the contact button opens the chat or form you named.
• On your own domain, the same pages load with a padlock, and one test enquiry actually starts on your phone or in your inbox.

If the private window still shows placeholder text, you published the template, not your prompt. Generate again or edit the name before you touch DNS.
